(Nudista) was originally conceived as a display type, but is sufficiently legible even at text sizes. (Its) carefully-chiselled curves are sturdy and well suited for the harsh conditions of low-resolution printing devices. They work well on computer or mobile phone screens and can be printed on laser printers.

Where Nudista is an ideal replacement for DIN, its cousin Kulturista – based on a similar grid and available with the same character set and weights – is best seen as a modern alternative to Rockwell and similar slab-serif display types. The bold, masculine roman is accompanied by a supple and soft italic, which is a pleasant surprise; the two families play quite well together.
